What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?
Based in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and uses techniques from Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Hypnosis. All of these are extremely effective when treating clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, phobias and making lifestyle changes etc.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy encourages clients to take small steps forward to bring about long lasting positive change in your life, get rid of any unwanted habits and achieve your goals. This is done through a relaxed conversational approach, utilising the abilities, strengths and resources you already have to help you bring your preferred future to fruition.
The focus is on exploring tools and strategies to create solutions in the present and move forward. We do not necessarily need to talk about past experiences to do this.
It is not the Hypnosis used for entertainment (often seen on stage) – so rest assured, clients will not have ideas ‘planted’ in their subconscious to do strange or embarrassing things. I am not here to make suggestions, tell you what to do or judge you in any way.
