Have you ever driven somewhere and can’t remember how you got there? Have you been for a walk or run lately? Do you watch films and TV?
… then you’ve been in trance.
We do it all the time without realising. It is this trance that hypnotherapy uses. When the mind is resting in this way, it allows us access to the subconscious and gives way to a natural process that enables us to find answers to problems and come up with new ideas. The good news is it does all this with very minimal effort from you.
There isn’t a right or wrong way to experience trance (AKA relaxation.) During sessions, it is important to get yourself nice and comfortable and warm. Don’t worry if you’re the sort of person who doesn’t relax easily, finds it difficult to empty your mind or hasn’t done this sort of thing before. I am here to gently guide you and you will be aware of your surroundings and in control.
